A Secret Fairy Realm

For generations the prospect of fairies at the bottom of the garden has been a source of fascination for young and old. Fairies are believed to bring good fortune to those who are lucky enough to spy one.

Now you can capture the enchantment of holding a fairy in your hand with our new Butterfly Fairies from Country Artists.

Using the intricately patterned details of real butterflies, these magical fairies are carefully hand painted, amazing in their detail, and wonderfully unique. Each piece comes with a story card, and is packaged in a full-color box, ready for gift giving.

Homeland Security T-shirts

Make a statement against terrorism with our new Homeland Security t-shirts. This historic shirt with four armed Indians defending their territory is sure to turn a few heads.

The shirt comes in red or black and is available in sizes small through 2X. Wear it with pride!

American Frontier Toys

Children will enjoy playing “cowboys and Indians” with our new American Frontier toys.

We’ve stocked up on everything from Tom Tom Drums to Indian headdresses. Also new are our cowboy and Indian sets, complete with 2” figures of tepees, wagons, horses, cowboys & Indians.

Young lawmen will also enjoy our six-shooter set which includes two guns, a belt, and badge. Come by and check out our new souvenir drum rattles as well. They are imprinted with “Wilderness Reflections—Kansas City” and are a very affordable gift at only $ 3.99 each.

Yee-haw!

A Gift of Good Luck

Send good luck and well wishes on special occasions with our new lucky bamboo. Ancient Chinese tradition has it that the number of bamboo stalks brings different benefits into one’s life. For example three stalks will bring, “happiness, wealth, and long life.” A two-stalk pot is for “love & romance,” and other combinations give different meaning.

Each plant also comes with some simple care instructions. Bamboo is one of the easiest plants to grow. Only water is needed. No special lighting or fertilizer is required. You can set them anyplace in a room, as long as it is away from direct sunlight.

Give a gift of good luck today!

Eudialyte—the Heart Stone

With its beautiful shades of deep red embedded in a matrix of black, gray, and white, eudialyte is a very distinctive stone. Eudialyte is composed of several minerals: sodium, calcium, cerium, iron, manganese, zirconium, silicon, hydrogen and chlorine. It ranks 5 to 5.5 on the Moh’s Scale of Hardness, so it can even be cabbed for jewelry (see our new pieces).

Eudialyte was first discovered in the Julianehaab district of Greenland in 1819. Today, however, most eudialyte comes from the Kola Peninsula in northern Russia. It is also found in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada; the Langesundfjord region of Norway; as well as in Madagascar; and Magnet Cove, Arkansas.

Some believe that eudialyte brings harmony into matters of the heart and dispels jealousy. Emotionally it is helpful for learning to trust oneself and others.

Light Up the Night

Our hand-painted suncatchers by Amia did so well last Mother’s Day that we decided to add a line of beautiful stained glass nightlights this season.

These nightlights by Gallery are handcut and layered from high quality materials, giving a lovely three-dimensional appearance.

Gallery is famous for the artistic designs and outstanding craftsmanship of their nightlights. Each nightlight is about 5½” tall and includes a 4-watt bulb that is designed to last 3000 hours.

Our nightlights have been very popular, so keeping them in stock has been a bit of a challenge. We hope to receive another shipment just in time for Mother’s Day.
