June Art & Sculpture Sale

This June, celebrate Dad with an attractive sculpture or beautiful work of art. During the entire month of June all of our art and sculptures will be on sale, 20-50% off regular prices! This includes all of our Herco, Mill Creek, Wild Wings, John Perry sculptures, and more.

Also on sale is a great selection of framed and unframed art. Select from artists such as Terry Redlin, David Behrens, Lee Bogle, and others. All of our artwork will be reduced 20-70%.

These are our lowest prices of the season, and our lowest prices ever on artwork. Come early for the best selection.

Eye-catching Imago

Just in time for Father’s Day, Wilderness Reflections is pleased to introduce the new Imago (im´a-go) line by Mill Creek Studios.

These gorgeous wildlife sculptures flow with graceful lines and subued colors. Artists Stephen Herrero and Randall Reading have teamed up to design these stylish pieces. The sculptures are more contemporary than Mill Creek’s alabaster sculptures, yet they have a unique artistic flair which makes them very attractive.

Choose from eagles, horses, rams, and more. You are sure to find one to suit any wildlife collector’s taste. One neat feature of these sculptures is they come in a variety of colors. If you don’t see the shade you like, we can order one for you in another color such as ruby, sapphire, topaz, or moonstone.

And remember -- even this new line is on sale during our June Art & Sculpture Sale!

Give Him a Beanie Baby!

This month we’ve brought in some great new beanies for the men in your life. For the guy who loves golfing, there’s Tour Teddy, the new PGA bear. Another cute star-studded bear is the All-star Dad, which is great for any father.

Also on hand are some great patriotic beanies, including Homeland, a red, white and blue chicken, and Independence, the new patriotic bear.

As always, our Beanie Babies are priced very affordably at $5.95 each. Come see our great new selection of Beanie Babies!

New Toys for Your Tots

Now that school is out andthere’s more time for summer fun, we’ve added some great new toys for kids.

First is a mini fish aquarium with a tiny fish swimming in a pool of “sea putty.” This cool putty is fun to feel as it oozes between small fingers to form new shapes.

If that doesn’t capture your imagination, how about a flashing ring to wear on your finger? Amaze your friends with a light-up frog, butterfly, or even an eerie eyeball ring!

We’ve also added some fun little safari animals that grow when you add water. They start out only a couple of inches long, but can expand to about 600% of their original size! These amazing little animals are a great price at only $1.79 each.

Fairy Popularity Soars

Due to the tremendous response we received last month to our new line of Butterfly Fairies, we wish to let you know that we will soon be doubling the number of fairies available at Wilderness Reflections.

The charm of these winged creatures is in the careful attention to detail put into their faces, clothing, and wings. Each pair of wings is modeled after a real butterfly. Childlike innocence and wonder is captured in these tiny, magical fairies.

Colorful Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is an attractive blue-green specimen that brings a unique color to the mineral world. It forms in oxidation zones of copper ore bodies, along with malachite, azurite, and turquoise. Chrysocolla is most accurately described as a mineraloid, as it lacks the necessary crystalline structure to be truly classified as a mineral. Most of the time it is amorphous, meaning that it does not have a coherent crystalline structure. However at higher temperatures, it demonstrates a distorted crystal structure that seems to be composed of Si4O10 sheets.

Pure chrysocolla is soft and fragile and therefore not appropriate for use in jewelry. However, chrysocolla is often "agatized" in chalcedony quartz - and it is the quartz that provides the stone with its polish and durability. Druzy chrysocolla is a rock composed of agatized chysocolla with a crust of small sparkling quartz crystals in small cavities. A skilled craftsman, if able to polish a specimen that accentuates the colored swirls of chrysocolla and sparkles of the druzy quartz, can produce a lovely and valuable piece of jewelry.

Save 20% on chrysocolla during June!

We’re Aglow with Delight

Last month we introduced a beautiful line of stained glass nightlights by Gallery. These lovely nightlights are hand-cut and layered from high quality materials, giving a 3-dimensional appearance.

Shortly after telling you about our nightlights, we virtually sold out of them. We just wanted to let you know that we received a large shipment a few days ago. Now is a great time to come pick out a gorgeous nightlight while supplies are at their best!
